Job summary

Tech(x) seeks an entry level Android software developer to support U.S. Army DEVCOM C5ISR Center programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. You will design and build Android applications, integrate components, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 1–2 years of Android-focused development, proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and strong communication. A security clearance is required for this position and onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Android-focused development experience.

• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Clearance: active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the Android platform.
• Develop software applications, services, and systems.
• Integrate software components into a complex software development environment.
• Collaborate with team members to review architecture designs, system requirements, and code.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
