Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a hands-on Planning & Analysis Model Builder to translate business requirements into Anaplan models. You’ll work on end-to-end delivery, collaborating with stakeholders to create scalable planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.

This role offers mentorship from experienced model builders, opportunities to own model components and UX pages, and a fast-paced Agile environment focused on reliability and control.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience building or maintaining EPM systems such as Anaplan or similar tools.
• Fundamental grasp of Anaplan concepts (lists, modules, line items, hierarchies, time versions, UX pages).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present simple demos and docs.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and capable in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories into modules, lists, line items, and UX pages; assist with actions and imports/exports.
• Build high-quality models following best practices for performance and sparsity.
• Design intuitive UX pages, demonstrate to stakeholders, and capture feedback.
• Collaborate with P&A, data product teams, technology, and risk partners for data flows.
• Assist with integrations, mappings, and basic transformation logic; escalate complex issues.
• Participate in backlog grooming and write/clarify stories and acceptance criteria.
• Uphold SDLC controls, access controls, peer reviews, and documentation.
• Pursue platform certifications and expand knowledge of related tools.
