Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC in New Jersey is seeking a Scientist-I to join our analytical chemistry team. This entry-level role contributes to pharmaceutical analysis for drug substances, excipients, and drug products, following schedules and SOPs.

You will perform quantitative analyses using USP/NF and EP methods, operate HPLC, GC, spectrophotometry, and dissolution tests, and communicate results while supporting GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Chemistry or related science required.
• 1 year or more of pharmaceutical experience.
• Working knowledge of US FDA cGMP and SOPs.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, TLC, UV and other analytical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis of drug substances, excipients and drug products.
• Use USP/NF, EP and in-house methods per SOPs.
• Operate spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC, dissolution and wet chemistry tests.
• Interpret and communicate analytical results.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and optimize lab operations for GMP compliance.
