Job summary

AFRY Management Consulting in New York is seeking an Entry-Level Analyst to join a collaborative team and gain hands-on experience on projects shaping the pulp, paper, packaging, and tissue industries.

You will analyze market data, build models, and contribute to client-ready presentations while developing your consulting skills through mentorship and cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, STEM or related field.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in consulting, manufacturing, forest products, sustainability, or pulp and paper industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and within a team.
  • Internships, co-ops, or coursework are beneficial but not required.
  • Additional language skills or programming experience are a plus.

Job Description

  • Analyze market trends, industry data, costs, and financial information to help solve client challenges
  • Create presentations, reports, databases, and analytical models that support strategic decision-making
  • Assist with business strategy, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and operational improvement projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the United States and globally to deliver high-quality client solutions
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients
  • Continuously develop your technical, analytical, and consulting skills through mentorship and on-the-job learning
Qualifications

We're seeking motivated individuals who are curious, analytical, and eager to build a career in consulting and industry advisory services.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, STEM, or a related field
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
