The University of Virginia Darden School Foundation is seeking an Engagement Associate to support the Engagement and Annual Giving teams. You will provide top-notch customer service to alumni and donors, maintain accurate data in the Advancement CRM, and assist in planning and executing alumni events and giving programs.

The role emphasizes data integrity, cross-team collaboration, and leveraging technology to deepen alumni relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or alumni relations is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service and professionalism.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Answer the phone and respond to emails in the alumni inbox.
• Support data platforms (Anthology/Encompass, Microsoft 365, Cvent, GiveCampus).
• Provide event registration and RSVP support.
• Code alumni events and attendance into the CRM and prepare PowerBI dashboards.
• Assist with annual giving and engagement events such as reunions and campaigns.
• Merge and print nametags, prepare signage, and support after-hours events.
