Job summary

Worldwide Aircraft Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Parts/Inventory Clerk to issue, stock, and track aircraft parts, plus shipping and receiving responsibilities. This role provides hands-on experience in a busy parts department and exposure to TFBO software and barcode systems.

Candidates need a high school diploma, basic computer and data entry skills, and a willingness to learn. Prior parts or warehouse experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided to ensure

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the stock room, including issuing, stocking, shipping, and receiving of aircraft parts.
• Become proficient in the TFBO software and accurately record all parts transactions in the system.
• Issue parts to technicians against active Work Orders and ensure all parts are properly documented and charged.
• Use Worldwide's Bar Code System to scan, label, and track parts in the Parts Department.
• Receive incoming parts, verify them against packing slips and purchase orders, and route them for receiving inspection.
• Stock parts in their assigned bin locations and keep the stock room clean and organized.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and shipping paperwork, in compliance with carrier and HazMat requirements.
• Process parts returns, core returns, and related paperwork.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories, reporting any discrepancies to the Inventory Control Manager.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the Inventory Control Manager of parts that need to be reordered.
• Communicate with the Shop Manager or his delegate on the status of parts for active Work Orders.
• Follow established parts processing procedures and maintain conformity with work rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Provide backup for personnel by fulfilling their function when they are away from their station.
