Position Overview: MCI is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company specializing in tailored solutions for clients. The accountant will manage accounting operations, produce financial reports, maintain records, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and reconciliation
  • Routine journal entries and bank transactions
  • AP bills and credit card transactions (if needed)
  • Month-end closing and reconciliation
  • Reconciliation, investigation, correction, and adjustment of accounting info
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Support department peers as needed

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in accounting or finance
  • 1-2 years of accrual accounting experience including AR, journal entries, month-end closing, reconciliation
  • Reliable attendance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and work independently
  • Detail-oriented with proofreading skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Conditions of Employment: Must be authorized to work, willing to undergo background/security and drug screening.
