Job summary

NQB8, a Los Angeles biotech x software venture studio, is seeking a CEO and cofounder to shape a hardware/software biotech venture aimed at improving scientists’ reproducibility. You will decide whether the opportunity is a great business and help get it there.

If the business isn’t great, you’ll pivot and find the next opportunity. You will start a company and will start one no matter what, with competitive compensation during incubation and CEO-level equity when the business is formed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead a biotech-software venture.
• Experience communicating with scientists and molecular biologists.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid pivots.

Biotech x software, Los Angeles. NQB8 is a venture studio and holding company building generational, zero-to-one technology businesses. We start ~4 new companies a year.

We have an early hardware/software bet in biotech focusing on helping scientists with their reproducibility. We have the first few customers. We are looking for a CEO and cofounder to work with us.
