Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a Staff Security Operations Engineer in Irvine, CA to drive Entra ID device migration and provide engineering support for the Azure AD platform. The role spans device migration, MFA management, and MDM governance, with a focus on hybrid identity, Conditional Access, and identity provisioning.

Responsibilities include leading migration waves, implementing automation with PowerShell and Graph, and acting as escalation for IAM incidents.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT or information security experience with IAM.
• 3+ years direct hands-on Entra ID/Azure AD experience, including device migration.

Responsibilities

• Drive Entra ID device migration including join and hybrid join scenarios.
• Provide engineering-level administration for Entra ID (Azure AD) platform and related IAM services.
• Configure and manage Conditional Access, Identity Protection, SSO, app registrations, and enterprise apps.
• Support hybrid identity with Entra Connect and synchronize on-prem AD with Entra ID.
• Automate Entra ID tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and procedures for IAM operations.
• Administer MFA platforms (Duo, Windows Hello for Business) and enforce MFA policies.
• Manage MDM (Intune) policies and device compliance.
• Troubleshoot Entra ID/AD authentication, provisioning, and CA issues.
• Collaborate with security/compliance teams and provide IAM governance.
