Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking compassionate caregivers in Philadelphia to provide kindness, comfort, and dependable support to clients in their homes.

This role offers flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time opportunities, day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, biweekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing training from a supportive office team.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA, HHA, DC certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and grocery shopping as needed.
• Encourage independence and maintain clients’ dignity.
• Communicate client needs and changes to the office team.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• CNA, HHA, DC certification, or equivalent experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and trustworthy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle preferred for applicable assignments
• Ability to meet company requirements and complete required documentation
