Job summary

The City of Baltimore seeks a highly technical Vulnerability Security Engineer with deep expertise in vulnerability discovery, exploit analysis, system hardening, and database security. You will evaluate security weaknesses, reproduce exploits, and map to adversarial behaviors to drive enterprise-scale remediation across large, hybrid infrastructures.

Ideal candidates have strong OS, cloud, and database knowledge and can lead remediation efforts and security enhancements while communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college.
• Two years of related IT experience (e.g., system/network security).
• Advanced technical credentials preferred (e.g., PMP, CISM).

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and analyze exploits across hybrid infrastructures.
• Engineer enterprise-scale remediation strategies and preventative controls.
