Job summary

Safran Defense & Space Inc. in Bedford, NH is seeking a paid summer intern for the Enterprise Systems Department. You will own a project during the internship and support ERP-related goals, reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems.

Qualified candidates are actively pursuing MIS or CS degrees with a 3.0+ GPA, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. U.S. citizenship or protected status is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with end-users to understand needs and troubleshoot system issues.
• Contribute to data migration, testing, and validation during ERP updates or implementations.
• Support documenting workflows and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
• Gain exposure to project management methodologies and participate in team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION PROFILE:

Safran Defense & Space Inc is seeking a qualified intern to participate in our paid summer internship program within the Enterprise Systems Department. The position will be located in our Bedford, NH location, reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems. The selected intern will take ownership of a project during the internship as well as support the goals of the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with configuring and maintaining SAP ERP modules to support various business functions such as finance, procurement, and inventory management


• Collaborate with the Enterprise Systems team to identify areas for process improvement and help design innovative solutions


• Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and assist in troubleshooting system issues


• Contribute to data migration, testing, and validation efforts during ERP system updates or implementations


• Support the documentation of workflows, processes, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity


• Gain exposure to project management methodologies and participate in team meetings to understand how ERP systems align with broader business objectives


• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Must be actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management information systems (MIS) or computer science


• GPA of 3.0 or higher


• Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of the team


• Ability to function professionally in a fast-paced environment


• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel


• Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance


• Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold U.S. Protected Individual status.

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

• Experience working in an ITAR environment
