Job summary

The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking an Enterprise Systems Programmer to design and maintain large-scale applications, databases and ETL processes that support university business needs.

Under minimal supervision, you will develop SSIS packages, web services, and data workflows, collaborating with data architects and analysts, mentoring junior developers, and supporting multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Three (3) years of related work experience.
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.

Responsibilities

• Develops and architect large-scale web-based applications and SQL ETL Processes using 3-tier architecture and Agile methodology.
• Supports SDLC from design to production release with various methodologies.
• Develops MS SQL SSIS packages and web services (SOAP, WSDL, WCF).
• Collaborates with Data Architect and Sr. Systems Analyst to design layouts for web, mobile and SSIS apps.
• Mentors junior developers in best practices and security guidelines.
• Works with customers to define business requirements and document technical strategies.
