Job summary

Summit Line Construction in Draper, UT is hiring an Enterprise Systems and Integrations Specialist to administer our IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. The role ensures reliable, secure services while contributing to integrations, automation, and infrastructure projects.

You will support Active Directory, Azure, and networking, and participate in budgeting, documentation, and security compliance. This full-time position reports to the IT department based in Draper.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in IT/CS or related field required, equivalent experience considered.
  • 1-2 years IT infrastructure support experience.
  • 1-2 years software development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure, AD and cloud services.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Administer on-premise and cloud IT infrastructure.
  • Support AD and Azure environments.
  • Assist with Cisco networking and backups (VEEAM/Azure).
  • Plan infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
  • Coordinate vendors and stakeholders for projects.
  • Develop integrations and automation with Boomi/Databricks.

Position Summary: The Enterprise Systems and Integrations Specialist is responsible for administering the organization’s IT infrastructure and integrations. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across all company locations while assisting in development of integrations, automation, infrastructure projects and supports department/company initiatives.

This role will report full time out of our Draper, UT location.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems
  • Administer company IT infrastructure including on-premise and cloud systems.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and Azure environments.
  • Assist with Cisco networking infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Maintain and monitor VEEAM Backup & Replication systems.
  • Monitor Azure Microsoft Backup solutions to ensure data protection and recovery readiness.
  • Ensure system uptime, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
Infrastructure Projects
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts.
  • Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and documentation standards.
  • Minimize operational disruption during implementations.
Compliance & Security
  • Assist leadership with IT compliance audits and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing.
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure and security documentation.
Field & Site Support
  • Visit field locations to support infrastructure deployments and complex troubleshooting.
  • Ensure remote sites align with corporate IT standards.
Business & Operational Support
  • Administer automated processes and application data integrations.
  • Maintain business applications and user access.
  • Participate in IT budgeting and cost management discussions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking.
  • Provide after-hours or emergency support as required.
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications
Education
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field minimum. Equivalent experience considered.
Experience
  • 1-2 years of progressive IT experience including infrastructure support.
  • 1-2 years Software development experience.
Technical Competencies
  • Microsoft Azure administration and cloud infrastructure management.
  • GitHub, team-based software development.
  • Familiar with REST API calls and testing via apps like Postman.
  • VEEAM Backup & Replication and Azure Backup solutions.
  • MS-SQL, Oracle/SQL experience.
  • Familiar with PowerShell scripting, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Javascript and Python experience preferred.
  • Experience with Boomi and/or Databricks preferred.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work with a team when developing software solutions.
  • Able to connect with other departments for automation development and support.

  • Maintain high system uptime and infrastructure reliability.
  • Successfully deliver infrastructure/development projects on schedule.
  • Maintain audit readiness and compliance adherence.
  • Accurately identify risks and follow change management controls.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Navigate uneven terrain at job sites when required.
  • Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Climb ladders and stairs; work at elevated heights when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
