Job summary

Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) is seeking a Systems Administrator in Manassas, VA to manage and support Windows and Linux environments, virtualization, and storage. You will ensure system health, security, and reliable operations while collaborating with engineering and business teams.

Qualifications include 3–5+ years in enterprise IT, Windows/Linux admin experience, VMware, DNS/AD, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash). Industry certs and ITIL familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Red Hat Linux administration.
• VMware virtualization technologies.
• DNS and Active Directory services.
• SAN/NAS storage and backup solutions (desired).
• Industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or RHCE.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and Nutanix HCI environments (if applicable).
• Support daily operational activities, incident resolution, and customer requests.
• Monitor system health, performance, security, and availability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and backup verification.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across servers, storage, networking, and directory services.
