Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC, located in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to develop and maintain advanced software systems. You will work on analytics, real-time processing, and data-intensive applications, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Applicants must hold a current Top-Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph within seven years and have seven years of SWE experience in similarly complex programs; bachelor’s degree required.

Description

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensiveanalytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremelylarge data sets, real-time systems, and business managementinformation systems) based upon documented requirements. Worksindividually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests softwarecomponents for adherence to the design requirements and documentstest results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes softwaredevelopment and software design methodologies appropriate to thedevelopment environment. Provides specific input to the softwarecomponents of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-Shelf(COTS) / Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) in place of newdevelopment, and requirements analysis and synthesis from systemlevel to individual software components.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance within seven (7) years is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’sdegree.

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $185,000 - $200,000.
