Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Database Engineer to advance automation, streamlined processes, and continuous monitoring across the project lifecycle. You will support design, development, and data retrieval while shaping the system architecture for scalable cloud-based solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of DBE experience, a technical bachelor’s degree, and are eligible for Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance. Telework may be available based on program requirements.

Qualifications

• Ten years of DBE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Document the database schema and ensure alignment with overall system architecture.
• Direct the overall database structure to fit into the system architecture and project lifecycle.
• Create new workflows and provide break/fix requests or updates as needed.
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from project inception to conclusion.
• This position may allow for telework based on program requirements.

Description

We are seeking a Database Engineer that will develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities
• Support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts
• Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for the design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis
• Direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion
• Document the database schema

This position may allow for telework based on program requirements.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position

Experience

Ten (10) years experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
