Erias Ventures is seeking a Data Scientist to develop machine learning, data mining, and analytics to deliver data-driven insights for customers. You will prototypoe algorithms, build models for production integration, and collaborate with subject matter experts to automate analytics workflows.

The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and a strong background in statistical analysis, AI, and software engineering using R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline; an additional four years of related experience can substitute for a degree.
• Significant MLOps and Data Science background required.
• Ten years of experience in two or more areas: ML design/implementation, Data mining, advanced analytics, AI, or software engineering with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning, data mining, statistical and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets and generate insights.
• Prototype multiple algorithms and select final models based on performance metrics.
• Build models or experiments when datasets are unavailable and generate data for training.

Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist who will develop machine learning, data mining, statistical and graph-based algorithms to analyze and make sense of datasets; prototype or consider several algorithms and decide upon final model based on suitable performance metrics; build models or develop experiments to generate data when training or example datasets are unavailable; generate reports and visualizations that summarize datasets and provide data-driven insights to customers; partner with subject matter experts to translate manual data analysis into automated analytics; implement prototype algorithms within production frameworks for integration into analyst workflows..

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science). An additional four (4) years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Required skills:

• Significant MLOPS and Data Science background

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in two (2) or more of the following:

• Designing/implementing machine learning
• Data mining
• Advanced analytical algorithms
• Advanced statistical analysis
• Artificial intelligence
• Software engineering with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
