Job summary

Reporting to Enterprise Security leadership, you will direct incident response, threat intelligence, and security awareness, build a high-performing team, and translate security posture into clear executive insights for risk management and readiness.

State Compensation Insurance Fund is seeking a strategic and technically experienced leader to drive our incident Response and Threat Intelligence function, protecting our organization from evolving cyber threats while strengthening our overall security posture.

As State Fund continues to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities, we are looking for an experienced manager to lead critical incident responses and threat intelligence efforts. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone ready to shape how the organization anticipates, detects, and responds to risk across the enterprise.

Under the direction of the Enterprise Security senior leadership, this role provides both strategic direction and operational leadership across incident response, threat intelligence, and security awareness program, ensuring enterprise readiness.

Position can be filled in:Bakersfield, Eureka, Fresno, Glendale, Oxnard, Pasadena, Pleasanton, Redding, Riverside, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, Salinas, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, San Luis Obispo, Santa Ana, Stockton or Vacaville.
