Job summary

Apogee Integration LLC in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager and Systems Engineering Support with an active TS/SCI clearance. The role spans risk management across GEOINT, SIGINT, and enterprise integration portfolios, working with engineering and requirements teams to support RMF artifacts and SEPs.

The candidate will collaborate across stakeholders, document risk mitigation plans, and assist in CoA evaluations and trade studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (STEM preferred).
• Enterprise Risk Manager with deep experience.
• 10–15+ years’ experience in systems engineering for government acquisitions.
• Ability to collaborate across stakeholder organizations.
• Strong communication with customers and office representatives.

Responsibilities

• Capture and categorize technical risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs) across system-of-systems architectures.
• Help senior engineering teams develop, test, and document risk mitigation plans.

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America’s intelligence satellites.

Apogee's ideal Enterprise Risk Manager and Systems Engineering Support will provide support for an Intelligence Community Space customer. The candidate will work across the Engineering and Requirements teams, in conjunction with Architecting and Digital Engineering teams to support Enterprise Risk management, end-to-end Enterprise Systems Engineering across GEOINT, SIGINT, Transport, Resiliency, Warfighter Support, and Enterprise Integration portfolios, and ground enterprise engineering.

What You'll Do

• Assisting in capturing and categorizing technical risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs) across system-of-systems architectures
• Helping senior engineering teams develop, test, and document risk mitigation plans and remediation strategies
• Maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, risk registers, and system engineering plans (SEPs)
• Facilitate meetings and provide technical presentations to outline risk impacts on enterprise, functional, and system-level design requirements, interfaces, architectures, and CONOPS
• Assisting in executing engineering assessments, Courses of Action (CoA) evaluations, and formal trade studies
• Demonstrating an understanding of the overall systems engineering process
• Support the enterprise risks, issues, and opportunities process and facilitation of risks

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (STEM preferred)
• Enterprise Risk Manager
• 10-15+ years’ experience working in systems engineering in support of government systems acquisitions and enterprise services
• Ability to collaborate across stakeholder organizations
• Strong communication skills to interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across systems engineering groups

Desired Skills

• Experience with National Reconnaissance Office RFC, CM, and R/I/O management
• Strong foundation in systems lifecycles, configuration management, requirements tracking, and risk methodologies

Pay

• Target Salary Range: $150,001–$170,000. The salary range listed represents the anticipated compensation for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and other relevant factors
