Job summary

Brooksource in Columbus, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our hybrid team. You will work with developers and stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements, perform reliably, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing functional and regression testing, and guiding defect resolution within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing manual software testing in enterprise environments.
• Ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Familiarity with REST API testing and SQL queries; automated testing tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for enterprise applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate business and technical requirements to ensure applications meet expected outcomes.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and post-release quality assurance activities.
