Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Technical Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale software and platform solutions across multiple teams. You will define target-state architectures, govern technical quality, and act as a trusted technology advisor to stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering with architecture ownership and 3+ years designing enterprise-scale solutions. Hybrid working in with several U.S. office locations is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with architecture ownership across multiple teams.
• 3+ years designing enterprise-scale software or platform solutions as a Technical Architect.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise software platforms, shared services, and applications.
• Define target-state and transition architectures, including system decomposition, integration patterns, and data flows.
• Lead architecture decisions (build/buy/reuse) and clearly articulate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
• Act as a technology advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating business objectives into pragmatic solutions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards and governance, including security, scalability, performance, resilience, and operability.
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure solutions are implementable and production-ready.
• Proactively identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies and architectural risks.
• Mentor senior engineers and junior architects; promote consistency, best practices, and engineering excellence.
