Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network administration in a DoD or comparable environment.
• DCWF Work Role 511 - Network Operations Specialist, Intermediate proficiency. Common qualifying certifications: CCNA or Network+ plus Security+.
• DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualification prior to start; Residential Qualification for privileged access
• SECRET clearance (final, adjudicated) at minimum
• Advanced networking certification (e.g., CCNP)
• Familiarity with DISA connection approval processes

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and network transport devices (Cisco IOS-XE/NEXUS)
• Implement firewall and proxy rule changes
• Support critical service restoration during contingencies, prioritizing SIPRNet secure communications
• Perform diagnostic isolation at service seams with enterprise providers (RNECs, DISA) and deliver fault-attribution reports
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
