Enterprise IT Systems Engineer
Support enterprise-level IT infrastructure and services for mission‑critical Department of Defense (DoD) environments. Display expertise across a wide range of Microsoft, VMware, and cloud technologies, with a strong focus on secure, scalable, and resilient system design and support. Administer, configure, and support Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Certificate Authority (CA) or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Manage enterprise backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions ensuring data resiliency and compliance with DoD standards. Design and maintain Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Hyper‑Converged Infrastructure (HCI) for scalable storage and compute needs. Implement and maintain Data‑At‑Rest (DAR) encryption solutions using Microsoft BitLocker. Ensure systems align with the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG). Administer and support Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SQL databases, and web hosting.
Deliver secure, high‑performance capabilities, including VoIP, VDI, mobile computing, and video teleconferencing. Manage and optimize VMware virtual infrastructure and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Design and maintain solutions within Microsoft Office 365, leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud‑based models.
