Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Integration Engineer to join the team on SAIC’s SETA program supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate in Chantilly, VA. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

You will provide specialized integration expertise for multi-INT software services and guide end-to-end lifecycle activities across architecture development, solution engineering and operational integration.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Broad systems engineering experience including architecture, integration and verification.
  • Knowledge of cross-domain data flows.
  • Experience in SAFe or scaled agile environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with data management compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide innovative engineering by enabling agile lifecycle management, program planning and mission integration.
  • Guide resolution of compliance challenges for datasets acquired under diverse authorities.
  • Design and integrate cross-domain solutions to enable data sharing across stakeholders at different security levels.
  • Integrate stakeholder and system requirements, discuss schedule impacts and provide digital engineering support.
  • Engage with other systems engineers to enhance cross-program integration and delivery.
  • Provide engineering and technical advice to achieve innovative capabilities for the customer.
  • Support planning of future systems and architectures and develop architecture roadmaps.
  • Develop briefs and documentation including architecture views and technical roadmaps.

Description

SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Integration Engineer to fill a position on SAIC’s large SETA Program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) in Chantilly, VA.

All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

This Enterprise Integration Engineer will provide specialized expertise supporting project management and integration of multi-intelligence (multi-INT) software services to meet urgent National Security priorities. SAIC’s client is tasked with leading the integration of mission focused tools to foster increased efficiency, automation and information sharing. The qualified candidate will assist and advise Government managers responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise. The successful candidate will support integrated architecture development, solution engineering and operational integration of multi-INT tools and data across the full breadth of the National Security enterprise.

A successful candidate in this position will bring a record of application of agile systems engineering methods and creative thought-leadership to mature and develop mission solutions to pressing intelligence needs.

Job Responsibilities to include:

  • Provide innovative thought and practical engineering application by leveraging agile software lifecycle management practices to assist the Program Management Office with solution engineering, program planning and mission integration of delivered capabilities and data flows.
  • Guide resolution of compliance challenges for datasets acquired under diverse authorities (E.O. 12333, Law Enforcement Sensitive, commercial data, et al.).
  • Design and integrate cross-domain solutions to enable data sharing across stakeholders at diverse security levels and using different authorities.
  • Integrate stakeholder and system requirements, facilitate discussion and understanding of schedule impacts and trades, and provide the digital engineering support
  • Engage with other systems engineers directly supporting programs to enhance cross-program integration, track solution delivery progress and assist in developing digital work products
  • Participate in and contribute to technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer to achieve innovative capabilities
  • Provide technical expertise to support the planning of future systems and architectures
  • Develop briefings and documentation material, including architecture views and technical roadmaps.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline and two (2) years or more experience; or Master’s degree. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Broad systems engineering experience (e.g. system architecture and design, integration of system requirements, CONOPS, systems verification to develop solutions, use of schedule and configuration management in support of program execution)
  • Knowledge of engineering and integrating cross-domain data flows.
  • Knowledge and proficiency integrating data management capabilities that conform to various sets of compliance requirements based on the source of the data.
  • Experience working with Policy, Compliance and General Counsel teammates to validate requirements for compliant data management capabilities
  • Experience or familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework Environment (SAFe)
  • Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work
  • Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high tempo environment
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
