Job summary

Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Infrastructure Support Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. This full-time role supports one of the largest IC contracts and requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

You will design, document, and deploy system solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure capacity planning and secure operations across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 10 years SA experience required, 4 years can substitute for degree.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I+ compliance required.
• 2+ years modern operating systems and network architectures experience.
• 2+ years certification and accreditation experience; architecture design and IA metrics.
• Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization.

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Infrastructure Support Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities and you will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other documentation for new and updated installations. You will also work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals. #MDFSP #AJCM

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or universityand ten(10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
• Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.
• Must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation. Architecture development and design. Risk Assessments. IA Metrics gathering.
• Optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing enclave systems

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
