Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an ICAM Identity Provider Engineer to support large-scale authentication and federation services for the DoW. The role focuses on designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining enterprise IdP services across millions of identities, with onsite work in Maryland.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IAM/ICAM, strong ADFS experience, and proficiency in SAML/OIDC/OAuth, PKI, and MFA.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of IAM, Authentication, Federation, or ICAM‑related experience.
Experience implementing Microsoft ADFS in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and federation concepts.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and sustain enterprise IdP services used by millions of DoW users.
Administer and maintain Microsoft ADFS infrastructure.
Configure federation trust relationships with internal/external IdPs, SPs, and partners.
Implement and troubleshoot authentication using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, WS-Federation, and certificate‑based methods.
Onboard and integrate applications into the authentication/federation ecosystem.
Develop and maintain authentication policies, claims rules, and token issuance configurations.
Support SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and phishing‑resistant authentication mechanisms.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, AD, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams.
