Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Field Service Manager to lead regional deployment teams for Motorola DMR and Public Safety DAS/BDA ERCES systems. The role requires managing field crews, conducting site walks, and ensuring QA/QC and safety standards are met, with a strong focus on on-time project delivery.

This senior leadership position entails ~80% regional travel, with additional national travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of low-voltage construction and field operations experience.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Experience overseeing Motorola DMR system installations, including CapMAX and/or LCP infrastructure.
• Strong background in Public Safety DAS/BDA ERCES system installations; familiarity with NFPA 1221 and AHJ inspection processes.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• Low Voltage Contractor License and/or R-56 Installer certification preferred.
• BICSI or equivalent DAS/structured cabling certification is a plus.
• Strong reading of RF system drawings, riser diagrams, blueprints, and engineered specs.
• Excellent communication skills; able to lead crews and interact with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project reporting tools.

Skillset / Experience: We are looking for an Enterprise Field Service Manager to lead regional deployment teams supporting Motorola DMR Critical Communication and Public Safety DAS/BDA ERCES systems at enterprise customer facilities. This role will oversee field crews, conduct site walks and kickoff meetings, ensure QA/QC and safety standards are met, and drive projects to successful, on-time completion. This is a senior, travel-intensive leadership position requiring approximately 80% regional travel, with national travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Site Walks & Readiness: Conduct pre-installation site surveys at enterprise facilities to assess readiness, identify installation challenges, validate infrastructure requirements, and prepare deployment crews before mobilization.
• On-Site Kickoff Meetings: Lead project kickoff meetings at each job site – set the tone, align the team on scope and sequencing, communicate safety expectations, and ensure everyone is clear on daily objectives before work begins.
• Multi-Crew Oversight: Provide active oversight and direction across multiple deployment crews, coordinating schedules, priorities, and resource allocation to keep projects moving efficiently and teams working in sync.
• QA/QC Inspections: Perform systematic quality assurance and quality control checks on all installation and commissioning work, including DAS/BDA cable plant, Motorola DMR infrastructure, and antenna systems.
• FATP & Commissioning: Oversee and validate Functional Acceptance Test Plans (FATP) for Motorola DMR and ERCES Public Safety system commissioning to ensure systems meet design specifications and AHJ requirements.
• Safety Leadership: Enforce OSHA, NFPA, IFC, and R-56 standards; conduct daily safety briefings; maintain incident-free job sites – safety is non-negotiable.
• Team Development: Invest in the people on your crews – coach them, challenge them, and create a team culture where accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement are the norm.
• Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary customer-facing leader on enterprise projects; communicate status clearly, manage expectations professionally, and resolve issues with urgency and ownership.
• Licensing & Permitting: Manage local permitting and AHJ coordination for DAS/BDA ERCES systems, including fire marshal inspections and certificate of occupancy requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain as-built drawings, daily field reports, commissioning records, compliance checklists, and project close-out packages.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor job costs, track labor and material utilization, and support the project billing process and schedule of values.
• Branch Support: Provide technical and operational leadership to branch-level field teams as needed outside of primary travel team assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of low-voltage construction and field operations experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing Motorola DMR system installations, including CapMAX and/or LCP infrastructure.
• Strong background in Public Safety DAS/BDA ERCES system installations; familiarity with NFPA 1221 and AHJ inspection processes required.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing field crews across geographically dispersed sites.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• Low Voltage Contractor License and/or R-56 Installer certification preferred.

• Strong understanding of building codes, fire codes (NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, IFC), and low-voltage permitting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret RF system drawings, riser diagrams, construction blueprints, and engineered specifications.
• Excellent communication skills – able to lead crews in the field and engage professionally with enterprise-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must pass background check and drug screening.
• Security clearance is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders, lifts, and elevated structures.
• Comfortable working in various environments including server rooms, equipment closets, rooftops, and construction sites.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Capable of working in varied weather and temperature conditions

Travel & Location

This role requires approximately 80% travel, primarily within an assigned region covering multiple deployment crews, with national travel as project needs require. Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major commercial airport hub to support rapid regional and national deployment. If relocation is required, a relocation package can be negotiated.
