Erias Ventures is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support network infrastructure, Linux administration, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires Kubernetes, cluster orchestration, and strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, with on-call 24/7 support for critical systems.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI-with-poly clearance and a related degree or equivalent experience; travel is expected for installations and maintenance in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or four years of experience in lieu of degree.
• MS in Engineering or CS may substitute two years of experience for degree.
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (Security+) and CCNA certification are required.

Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in network infrastructure, Linux administration, automation, and system troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network technologies, scripting with Python and Bash, and experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.

Required skills

• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization.
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies
• Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) AND CCNA certification
• Experience performing network services from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of LAN/CAN/WAN networks; administration of Arista and Cisco devices; configuring and optimizing networks to connect front‑end and back‑end components.
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting; proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab and using infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
