The position requires 8+ years in data strategy or related IT disciplines, with strong communication skills and experience in mission-driven organizations. On-site at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a data-related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data strategy or enterprise data management.
• Experience creating or implementing data strategies in mission-driven organizations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine enterprise data strategies supporting mission priorities and IT roadmaps.
• Translate governance, security, and lifecycle concepts into actionable guidance.
• Develop and execute communication plans to align IT stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify gaps in data posture and recommend investments, processes, and standards.
• Coordinate with mission partners to integrate data strategies across programs.
• Produce the monthly Data Strategy Posture Report documenting progress, risks, and standards.
