Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking an experienced architect to drive enterprise optimization across their domain. You will translate business needs into architectural solutions that meet performance, reliability and security expectations, and align with enterprise roadmaps and standards.

The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams, preparing domain viewpoints, modeling current and target states, and supporting vendor evaluations and RFIs/RFPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
• 5 years experience in the Architecture Domain.
• Ability to motivate, collaborate with stakeholders, coach, manage cross-domain solutions, and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to maximize architecture impact.
• Prepare domain architecture viewpoints and models; analyze PPOs and state gaps.
• Assist in design, engineering and implementation of assets for internal use.
• Support vendor evaluation and RFIs/RFPs and evaluation of proposals.
• Publish and maintain viewpoints and ensure traceability with business needs.
