Job summary

A leading data solutions firm based in New York is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and manage scalable, high-performance data solutions. The role includes driving enterprise data architecture, defining data models, and ensuring data governance and quality. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of experience in data architecture, strong knowledge of data modeling, and expertise with cloud data platforms. This is a client-facing role requiring collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (3NF, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Expertise in SQL and database design principles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern cloud data platform (Warehouse/Lakehouse).

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data architecture including standards and best practices.
• Design reusable architecture patterns and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Build and optimize warehouse/datamart architectures for analytics.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and secure access controls.
• Drive architecture reviews and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Client-facing role with ownership of data architecture.
