Job summary

Segra is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect for a full-time role in a hybrid arrangement in Missouri. The position focuses on transforming Segra’s data ecosystem into scalable, cloud-enabled architecture to support analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data/enterprise architecture, 5+ years leading modernization efforts, and strong cloud data platform experience. A Bachelor’s degree in information systems or CS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes/lakehouses, data integration, data modeling, MDM, metadata, governance.
• Proficiency with SQL and modern data engineering tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Enterprise Data Architect to join us in a full-time capacity.

Location Requirement:

The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week.

Role Overview:

Data Architecture involves transformation, continuous improvement, and documentation of Segra's data ecosystem to modern, scalable, cloud-enabled architecture. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data strategies, modernizing data environments, and enabling advanced analytics, AI, and business intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience/combined education

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of:

• TOGAF, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or relevant architecture certifications.
• Experience leading data architecture and enterprise transformation programs.

Salary Range:

$130,000 - $150,000
