At Delta Star the work we do has a real impact. Every transformer we build helps deliver reliable electricity to homes, businesses, and communities across North America.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for people who want more than just a job. We are looking for individuals who want to learn, contribute, solve challenges, and build a meaningful career alongside a team that is committed to delivering power at all times.
This position can be based in Lynchburg, VA or Charlotte, NC, with hybrid work options available. Highly qualified candidates outside these locations may be considered for remote/hybrid employment; however, they must be able to travel to work onsite at one of our office locations: L ynchburg, VA; or Charlotte, NC for one week each month. To meet this requirement, remote candidates must have convenient access to a major commercial airport with consistent flight availability.
Delta Star Inc. is seeking a strategic and business-focused Enterprise D365 Solution Architect to own the end-to-end business and solution architecture of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring Dynamics 365 effectively supports core business processes spanning sales, quote-to-order, manufacturing, supply chain, fulfillment, billing, and financial reporting. As a key technology leader, you will guide solution design, application strategy, and architectural governance while maximizing standard platform capabilities and supporting long-term scalability. If you enjoy bridging business objectives and technology solutions, we want to hear from you!
As the Enterprise D365 Solution Architect, you will define and govern how Dynamics 365 supports Delta Star’s business operations today and into the future. You’ll partner with business stakeholders, analysts, technical teams, and external partners to design scalable solutions, improve business processes, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable value. Your expertise will help the organization leverage standard platform functionality while minimizing unnecessary customization and maintaining long-term platform sustainability.
Your day may include facilitating a solution design workshop, reviewing proposed system enhancements, collaborating with Finance and Supply Chain leaders on process improvements, or mentoring analysts on D365 best practices. You’ll evaluate business requirements, develop future-state process designs, review architectural decisions, and help teams balance user needs, business value, and platform capabilities. You’ll also stay current on Microsoft’s roadmap and identify opportunities to improve operational performance through technology innovation.
We’re looking for a strategic thinker who understands both business operations and enterprise technology architecture. The ideal candidate can translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions, influence stakeholders across functions, and drive technology decisions that support long-term operational success.
Approximately 10–20% travel to support business operations, project initiatives, vendor engagements, and company locations.
At Delta Star, you will find more than a job. You will join a team that values people, supports growth, and trusts you to make an impact. Whether you're on the shop floor, in the field, or in the office, you will work alongside talented people to solve meaningful challenges, power communities, and build a rewarding career. With opportunities to learn, advance, and contribute, plus a culture built on respect, teamwork, and work-life balance, Delta Star is a place where you can thrive for the long term
We believe that a rewarding career starts with feeling supported both at work and at home. Eligible employees have access to medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings programs, paid time off, life and disability protection, wellness resources, employee assistance programs, and additional voluntary benefits that help you and your family thrive.
We are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
