Job summary

Blackfoot Communications is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to define and implement our enterprise security architecture across corporate, cloud, and on‑prem environments. You’ll lead hands‑on security design, collaborate with MSPs, and drive governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, translate complex security requirements into practical designs, and work with leadership to balance risk and operational needs in a fast‑paced telecom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, audit, and cybersecurity insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve Blackfoot’s enterprise cybersecurity architecture across environments.
• Lead hands-on design and implementation of core security platforms and controls.
• Oversee security operations and governance with managed service providers.
• Provide risk-based guidance during audits, assessments, and insurance reviews.
