Job summary

Openkyber, LLC is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect 2 in Austin, TX. The role offers 3 days remote and 2 onsite, within a 50‑mile radius. You will drive cloud architecture initiatives, design infrastructure strategies, and guide modernization of IT operations with a focus on SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.

Responsibilities include creating architectural blueprints, leading cloud engineering efforts, and implementing IaC and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

Knowledge of cloud technologies and analytical services from major providers.
Understanding of cloud delivery models: PaaS, SaaS, IaaS.
Familiarity with agile (scrum) methodologies and ceremonies.
Experience with CI/CD for cloud environments and DevOps principles.
Proficient in IaC concepts using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, etc.
Strong security, governance, and compliance in cloud environments.
Ability to design and document architectures using diagrams (Visio).

Responsibilities

Leads DCO Service Delivery strategic efforts for project delivery and operations.
Develops architectural blueprints, topologies, and specs aligning to cloud goals.
Implements IaC and integration pipelines to streamline deployments.
Ensures solution designs meet data security requirements and HIPAA controls.
Designs scalable cloud-based systems with cross‑agency collaboration.
Oversees training and mentoring of staff on new cloud tech and tools.
