Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead AWS migration and modernization programs for a global Banking & Financial Services client. You will design secure, scalable cloud architectures and drive AWS adoption across enterprise applications.

You will partner with enterprise architects, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver resilient cloud solutions, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and advance DevSecOps practices in

• 15+ years of experience in Software/Infrastructure/Cloud/Enterprise Architecture.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-scale AWS Migration & Modernization programs for a global Banking & Financial Services organization.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing cloud architecture, driving AWS adoption, and leading the migration of mission-critical enterprise applications from on-premises environments to AWS. You will collaborate with enterprise architects, engineering teams, security, infrastructure, networking, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

• Lead enterprise-wide AWS cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Define cloud architecture standards, migration roadmaps, and modernization strategies.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available, and multi-region AWS architectures.
• Drive enterprise cloud adoption and application modernization initiatives.

AWS Migration & Modernization

• Lead end-to-end migration of enterprise applications using the AWS 7Rs Migration Framework (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Relocate, Retain, Retire, and Repurchase).
• Guide application teams through cloud migration and modernization best practices.
• Identify and remove technical roadblocks to accelerate cloud adoption.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Drive automation-first engineering and cloud governance.
• Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) and Docker.

Security & Governance

• Ensure cloud solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Technology Risk, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, and change management activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with executive leadership, enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance across cloud transformation programs.
• Communicate cloud strategy, risks, and program status to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
• 8+ years of hands‑on AWS architecture, engineering, and cloud migration experience.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale AWS migration and modernization programs.
• Strong expertise in enterprise cloud architecture, hybrid cloud, and multi‑region AWS environments.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Services, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK ,Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) ,Docker, CI/CD Pipelines And DevSecOps.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• 7+ years of experience delivering cloud solutions within Banking / Investment Banking / Capital Markets/ Asset & Wealth Management/ Financial Services
• Experience supporting highly regulated environments with strong security, compliance, governance, and operational resilience requirements.
• Experience with mission‑critical banking, payments, trading, or financial platforms is highly preferred.
