Job summary
Qualcomm Incorporated is seeking a skilled BizAI Tech Functional Engineer to join the Enterprise AI Engineering team in San Diego, CA. You will translate Finance and SG&A needs into intelligent, governed enterprise solutions on the BizAI platform, collaborating with business stakeholders to drive scalable automation and AI-driven workflows.
The role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, with strong programming and full-stack capabilities, including Python and TypeScript, and experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field with progressive software engineering experience.
- 2+ years with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 9+ years in software/automation engineering, solutions engineering, or technical-functional roles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders (Finance, Sales, SCM) and AI engineering to elicit requirements and translate them into BizAI platform solutions.
- Design and deliver AI-driven agents, NLQ experiences, and automations for enterprise processes (e.g., Manual Journal Entry, Incentive Claims validation, Variance Analysis, Customer 360).
- Build/work with workflow automations using n8n on-prem Kubernetes and integrate with Oracle, Databricks, Salesforce, M365, Jira, PostgreSQL.
- Develop against FastAPI and micro-frontend SDKs and ensure enterprise-grade, reusable experiences.
- Ensure governance, SOX, auditability, SSO/RBAC, and data-security requirements are met.
