Job summary

Erias Ventures in Maryland seeks a Software Engineer for backend development, testing, and documentation. You will contribute to secure, scalable software and collaborate across disciplines.

This role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance (no sponsorship). 14 years of SWE experience, a BS in CS, and hands-on work with AWS, Java/C++, and databases are expected.

Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer with expertise on backend development, supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components, and generating technical documentation.

This position may allow for partial telework.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills

• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience generating technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Git
• Java, C++, or Python
• Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• SQL
