Job summary

Job description

Designs enterprise architecture (EA) to enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision‑making at any level of an enterprise. This role supports governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives such as cloud, digital solutions, DevSecOps, and AI/ML. The architect applies leading‑edge principles, contributes to new principles, works on complex problems, provides innovative solutions, operates with latitude for decision‑making, and mentors employees.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software delivery across development, cyber security, data engineering/analytics, and operations.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive enterprise architecture frameworks for large‑scale organizations.
• Experience ensuring compliance with U.S. government cyber standards, including RMF, SRG, STIG, and mitigating risks in technology implementation and operations.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT operations across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments, supporting capabilities such as DevSecOps, MLOps, application and data management.
• Knowledge of delivering software applications, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, integration platforms, and emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate with executives, IT teams, and business units to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• AWS Associate, Azure Intermediate, DoD 8570 IAT Level III, or 8140 Certification.

Nice to Have

• Experience with COTS data platform technology such as Palantir, Databricks, or Cloudera.
• Experience with Agentic platforms.
• Experience with solutions architecture.
• Experience in business development.
• Knowledge of common software architecture patterns such as microservices, layered, event‑driven, or serverless.
• Knowledge of DoDAF or ToGAF.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation

Salary range is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The range is based on location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and constitutes one component of the total compensation package.

Work Model

• Remote: Position may require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, with possible visits to a customer facility.
• Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with direct collaboration.
