Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to set and communicate the enterprise technology strategy across applications, data, security, and integration domains. You will lead modernization initiatives, own the architectural vision, and ensure alignment with business operations across aviation training and simulator manufacturing.

The role requires 15+ years IT experience with deep EA expertise, ability to drive standards, roadmaps, and governance, and to mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 15+ years IT experience with 8–10+ years in Enterprise Architecture in multinational settings.
• Strong experience in architecture governance, roadmaps, and vendor rationalization.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into multi-year architectural roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives (cloud, digital twin, simulation).
• Advise senior leadership on emerging technologies and architectural risks.
• Own security architecture across apps, infra, and manufacturing ecosystems.
• Define and maintain EA standards, catalogs, and reference models.
• Oversee build-vs-buy and vendor rationalization decisions.
• Align business processes with target-state architecture in divisions.
• Define and maintain the EA roadmap and ARB governance.
• Mentor solution architects and drive architecture across divisions.
• Ensure compliance with CMMC/NIST and export controls where applicable.
