Job summary

SMX seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to document design and implementation of high-quality technology solutions and architecture models. You will provide technical guidance to development teams and document secure cloud environments with open, modular architectures.

Responsibilities include writing design, sizing, and operational docs; analyzing project scopes for improvements; and applying DevSecOps practices with knowledge of GenAI tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in a solution architect or related role.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• AWS certification.
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Deep familiarity with cloud architecture, including hybrid multi-cloud target architectures and operating models.
• Experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Experience with AI code conversion and GenAI-related code quality tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to interface with customers.
• A self-starter who is detail-oriented, can work with minimal supervision, and consistently produces quality deliverables.

Job description

SMX is seeking a candidate that is able to work with technical teams to document the design and implementation of high-quality technological solutions and architecture models. This role involves providing technical assistance to development teams, documenting secure cloud environments, and ensuring system designs incorporate open architecture and modularity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing comprehensive design documentation, analyzing project scopes to recommend improvements, and coordinating across teams to ensure technical alignment and optimize communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to document high-quality technological solutions and architecture models.

• Document system designs that feature open architecture, incorporating modularity to consolidate sub-systems into secure cloud environments.

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to support development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

The proposed salary for this position is:

$105,100—$175,000 USD
