Job summary

GLC is seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Architect to lead enterprise-grade AI/ML initiatives. This hands-on technical leader will bridge software engineering, production AI architecture, and executive-level relationships to deliver scalable, secure AI systems for Fortune 500 clients.

The role requires designing, building, and deploying agentic AI/ML solutions, owning SOWs, and driving measurable business outcomes while traveling up to 25% and working in a hybrid NYC or San Francisco

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience including at least 5 years in hands-on software engineering and 3 years in architecture, solutions, or customer-facing delivery.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade agentic AI/ML systems in production.
• Proven experience owning strategic technical relationships with Fortune 500 or large enterprise executives at CIO/CTO level.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with ability to discuss architecture, reliability, scalability, security, and integration in depth.
• Experience leading complex enterprise solution architecture, technical discovery, scoping, and SOW development.
• Deep industry expertise in financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, insurance, or pharmaceuticals.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Hiring: Enterprise AI Architect | Up to $275K Base + Equity

New York City or San Francisco | Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday)

I'm recruiting an experienced Enterprise AI Architect for a fast-growing, well-funded AI company delivering large-scale AI transformations for Fortune 500 enterprises.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining software engineering, production AI architecture, and strategic relationships with C-suite executives.

Compensation:

Up to $275,000 base salary + competitive equity and benefits.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and deliver enterprise-grade agentic AI/ML solutions from design through production.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and other Fortune 500 executives.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, architecture decisions, and implementation planning.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work hybrid in NYC or San Francisco, Tuesday–Thursday and travel up to 25%.

Preferred

• Experience at a high-growth, VC-backed AI startup (Series A–D).
• A career combining hands-on engineering, enterprise architecture, and end-to-end customer delivery.

This is not a traditional pre-sales or presentation-focused solutions architect position. We are seeking someone who has personally built software and owned the delivery of complex AI systems in production.
