Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Job Summary:

Our prestigious law firm client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Engineer to join their dynamic team. This critical role involves close collaboration with the Enterprise Applications Manager and various departments, including IT, Accounting, and Marketing, to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance of all applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with department personnel to maintain and enhance application performance.
2. Ensure seamless operation of all enterprise applications.
3. Coordinate with IT, Accounting, and Marketing to address application-related needs.
4. Collaborate with team members to integrate, update, administer, and support the firm's management applications such as Elite 3E, Intapp (Time, Risk, Intake), Concur, Iridium, Aderant CompuLaw, and marketing tools.
5. Perform application implementations, reconfigurations, upgrades, and maintenance across finance, practice-specific tools, and marketing applications.
6. Administer underlying platforms including Microsoft SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Windows Servers.
7. Coordinate with other departments during projects and system upgrades, assessing and mitigating risk factors related to integrated systems.
8. Conduct periodic maintenance like SQL optimizations, Windows updates, and security patching.
9. Document system configurations, integrations, backup, disaster recovery processes, and application troubleshooting guides.
10. Manage vendor support tickets and optimize system performance and storage utilization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Expertise in SQL administration, data queries, reporting with SSRS, and managing accounting, time tracking, and billing software in a legal or professional services environment.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, C#, Visual Basic .Net, HTML5, or other programming languages.
• Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.
• Excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills, capable of working with staff of varying technical expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in management, design, and implementation of large enterprise applications within a complex operating system environment.
• A four-year college degree is preferred, although equivalent experience is considered.
• Microsoft and other relevant certifications are a plus but not required.

Required Skills and Certifications:

• Proficiency in PowerShell, C#, Visual Basic .Net, HTML5, or other programming languages.
• Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments.
• Legal or professional services experience required.
• Proven experience within a law firm or professional services company.
• Strong technical skills in managing enterprise applications.
• Experience limited to temporary or contractual roles will not be considered.
• Ability to work extra hours, weekends, and be available during firm administrative closures as needed.
