Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines is seeking an Enterprise Applications Development Lead to build, integrate, and support the systems that enable our teams to operate reliably as we scale for commercial launch.

You will do hands-on work configuring SaaS applications, developing SQL and data integrations, automating workflows, and delivering tested improvements. This role is remote with travel as needed and partners with IT, Commercial, Finance, and People teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with hands-on delivery and production support in enterprise apps/ERP/CRM
• Strong SQL development, data modeling, data quality, and performance tuning; scripting in Python or similar
• Experience configuring or supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and ERP/CRM integrations (e.g., SAP, Salesforce)

Location: This position may be performed remotely, but requires the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.

The Opportunity

Praxis is scaling for commercial launch. We’re looking for an Enterprise Applications Development Lead to build, integrate, and support the systems that help our teams operate reliably as we grow.

You will spend the majority of your time on hands-on work: configuring SaaS applications, developing SQL and data integrations, automating workflows, investigating issues, and delivering tested improvements. Initial priorities include enterprise application support, ERP and CRM integrations, and dependable access to commercial data.

You will own technical delivery and day-to-day reliability for assigned applications, working with Commercial, Finance, the People Team, and IT. This is an individual contributor role with leadership through technical expertise and execution. You will work within the priorities and architecture established with IT leadership, partnering with application engineering, data engineering, security, and validation colleagues.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build, configure, administer, and support assigned enterprise applications and workflows across the SaaS environment, including systems such as SAP, Salesforce/Veeva, Greenhouse, and Ketch.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, data models, integrations, and automated workflows using APIs, middleware, file exchanges, and scripting. Implement reconciliation, error handling, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
• Support SAP and CRM implementations and enhancements through data mapping, migration, integration development, testing, and production troubleshooting with business owners and implementation partners.
• Partner with Data & Analytics to connect application data to commercial reporting and the commercial data foundation. Maintain tested SQL queries and documented access procedures so critical monitoring can continue when AI interfaces are unavailable.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, practical technical designs, and deliverable work items. Configure standard platform capabilities where appropriate and develop custom solutions when justified.
• Own issues through resolution: diagnose failures, coordinate vendor support, communicate business impact, and address recurring causes. Maintain runbooks and cross-train colleagues to provide dependable backup coverage.
• Coordinate technical work with vendors and internal teams. Maintain application documentation, support contacts, and license usage information; recommend simplification and flag renewal or support risks to IT leadership.
• Use version control, peer review, repeatable deployment, and appropriate testing. Partner with Security and IT Validation on access controls, change documentation, and validation evidence for regulated workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise applications, ERP/CRM systems, database development, or data engineering, with recent hands-on delivery and production support responsibilities.
• Strong SQL development skills, including relational data modeling, troubleshooting, data quality, and performance tuning; practical scripting experience with Python or a comparable language.
• Experience configuring or supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and integrating ERP or CRM systems. Relevant experience may include Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Salesforce, or comparable platforms.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and integrations using APIs, middleware, or file-based exchanges, with attention to reliability and recoverability.
• Ability to work directly with business users, clarify requirements, test solutions, and carry changes through deployment and ongoing support.
• Experience with Git or comparable version control, issue tracking, technical documentation, and disciplined release practices.
