Job summary

Computer World Services Corp (CWS) is seeking an Applications Developer to analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications supporting NIEHS mission systems. The role blends business systems analysis with hands-on software development in a data center and hybrid cloud environment.

You will collaborate with end users, DBAs, and admins to ensure solutions meet requirements, integrate with enterprise systems, and comply with Federal and NIH standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in application development and systems analysis.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a Data Center and/or hybrid cloud environment.
• Applicants must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Proficiency in ColdFusion and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and system design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design business systems supporting financial, accounting, human resources, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using ColdFusion and other enterprise technologies.
• Design and develop database-integrated applications with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Develop system-level utilities and integration components for scalable, secure applications.
• Create reusable components and services to support enterprise development.
