Job summary

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Consultant to help deliver solutions that solve our clients' business challenges through hands-on technical implementation and enablement of best practices. You will promote Red Hat solutions with your technical and interpersonal skills, working across enterprise environments.

You will travel 20-30 weeks per year to work with leading financial services, retail, telecommunications, and institutional customers, while mentoring teammates and expanding your cloud,

Qualifications

• Base-level Linux administration and configuration, knowledge of code-based configuration.
• Scripting skills in YAML and Python; familiarity with automation tooling.
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, PowerShell).
• Understanding the benefits of automation in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud technologies and container management/orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in building scalable, manageable enterprise infrastructures using Red Hat solutions.
• Continuously learn, grow, and adapt to new skills and technologies.
• Travel frequently (20-30 weeks per year) to work with financial services, retail, telecoms, and institutional customers.
