Job summary

A.O. Smith is seeking a hands-on BI & Analytics Solutions Architect to design, deliver, and modernize enterprise analytics across SAP BW/4HANA and cloud data platforms in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires deep business process understanding, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership to deliver scalable analytics solutions using SAP BDC, Datasphere, Snowflake, AWS services, Tableau and Power BI. Hybrid schedule and strong cloud expertise are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise analytics solutions with SAP BW/4HANA and cloud analytics platforms.
• 5+ years building enterprise reporting with Tableau/Power BI/SAC/SSRS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modernize enterprise analytics solutions across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Lead analytics projects end-to-end with stakeholders and process owners.
• Design scalable data architectures (Data as a Product, Data Mesh) and semantic models.
• Build ELT/ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, SAP Data Services, SDI, SQL, Python.
• Interface SAP BW with tools to improve usability and efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and drive best practices across the stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional architects and analysts to meet end-to-end needs.
