829 Studios, a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency, seeks an experienced strategist to drive AI visibility and organic SEO for enterprise clients. You will lead measurement, research, and content strategies to improve rankings and AI answer visibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of SEO experience in an agency environment, including enterprise or multi-location clients
• Hands-on AEO experience: has run or contributed to AI visibility work for clients and can explain how Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini retrieve, select and cite sources
• Expert-level proficiency with analytical tools (GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar)
• Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including troubleshooting website tracking and isolating AI referral traffic
• Ability to analyze organic search and AI visibility data to make specific recommendations
• Experience with WordPress, Shopify and other comparable CMSs

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth SEO and AI visibility audits and deliver scalable, prioritized recommendations
• Create and execute custom search strategies for large, enterprise and Fortune 500 brands, covering both organic rankings and AI answer visibility
• Develop content strategy from keyword research, prompt research, competitor review and content and citation gap analysis
• Identify which competitors and third-party sources AI engines credit in place of the client, including ones that aren't on the client's competitor list
