Job summary

Coca-Cola is seeking a Director, AI Engineer in Atlanta, GA to lead enterprise AI engineering for Fuelight 360. You will drive technical strategy, architecture, and delivery across product teams, with focus on responsible AI and scalable production systems.

You will oversee AI capabilities, MLOps/LLMOps/AgentOps, and cross-functional collaboration with data science, engineering, and core tech teams to mature AI engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/AI/ML or related field.
• 8+ years in software/AI engineering or related technical disciplines.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams or technical leads.
• Experience delivering production AI solutions including GenAI, LLMs, agents, and ML systems.
• Experience delivering across multiple products in a matrixed environment.
• Strong expertise in RAG, GraphRAG, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Hands-on Python and cloud-native development; Azure preferred.
• Experience implementing MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps in production environments.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy, model governance, and enterprise risk controls.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operationalize AI capabilities within Fuelight 360.
• Evaluate and implement generative AI and agent-based solutions to enhance decision support and insight generation.
• Create delivery roadmaps and implementation plans for Fuelight 360.
• Provide expertise on AI architecture, model integration, and emerging AI technologies.
• Prioritize and deliver high-value AI solutions with product teams.
• Ensure strong MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps practices across production.
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI standards and reusable patterns.
• Lead production AI applications, LLM-powered products, and agents.
• Develop AI engineering teams through coaching and career growth.
• Establish engineering quality standards via reviews and testing.
